WhatsApp is releasing larger groups with 512 participants


 

After releasing a feature that lets users share documents up to 2GB in size on the recent versions of WhatsApp beta for Android, iOS, and Desktop, WhatsApp is now finally rolling out to more people the ability to create and join larger groups today!


WhatsApp is finally rolling out the feature to all users on the latest versions of the app!






As you can see in these screenshots, it is finally possible to create groups with 512 participants, and you can also add them later by opening group info. If you want to verify if the feature is already enabled for your WhatsApp account, it is very easy to check it: just try to create a group and check how many people can be added to it. Note that this is not limited to the beta version of the app: people that install the most recent stable builds of 

WhatsApp for Android, iOS, and Desktop, can also create and join larger groups today!
This feature has been released to almost all users today and it will be available to everyone within 24 hours, so be sure to use an updated build of WhatsApp by updating the app from the Play Store, App Store, and TestFlight.
